Mind Map

 Firstly I created a mind map outlining the biggest events and activities that took place in 2019/2020, most of the biggest events were caused by Covid-19. After mind mapping I realised that I had forgotten about a lot of major events that took place simply because my mind has been so occupied on Covid-19, I could imagine that this has happened to a lot of people.  The next step was to pick on of the events from the first mind map and elaborate it, out of the options I wI was looking for two things: 1. what would be interesting for me to promote and 2. what would make a good promotion.  I decided on the Australian Bushfires that has been swept under the rug, Australia still has a serious problem with bush fire season happening every year, but every now and again major fires stop the world for a brief amount of time.  This new way of marketing can reach the masses and all it takes is a few moments to release something on a social media sit such as Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Some releases can be well thought out and include a creative brief, others can take 2 minutes, either-way there releases can be reached to millions of people, it attracts both familiar customers and new customers to your company and companies have had to adapt changing their business model that fits this type of communication in.  Releases can also take emotions into account when it comes to a target market. What is a creative brief?

 Essential a creative brief is a short document that contains the strategy behind a creative project, the strategy is the most important aspect of a creative project so having a brief that describes how the advertisement will be effective. These briefs are created in all types of platforms such as film, radio, print and social media. Briefs should be made before the production takes place as it keeps the team on a straight line. Typically they should be made by the advertising account manager and the client.  They will contain  An objective, what's the task that's been set? A target audience, who is the campaign aimed towards A key message, what is the real meaning of the campaign? A creative approach, how will the campaign be made creatively? this should be linked to the point bellow. What the content is, will it be a video, a poster or an audio piece?
